For smooth leather shoes, clean with a damp cloth and for suede shoes, use a brush and cleaning rubber. Why is proper cleaning so important?

-Dirt prevents the polish from being absorbed by the leather.

-The shoe may look patchy after polishing if it is not cleaned first.

-Shoe polish does not cover dirt.

-Never apply polish to a shoe that is still damp – let it dry first.

-When applying polish, remember: less is more!
